Christie Veto Proves Shared Sacrifice Nothing More Than a Talking Point

There he goes again standing up for the millionaires over the middle class

Trenton - New Jersey Democratic State Committee Chairman John Wisniewski responded to the line item veto by Governor Christie of the Democrats balanced budget that restores many of his cuts and would provide relief for middle class families:

"There he goes again, standing up for the special interests and millionaires, while turning his back on the middle class," said Wisniewski. "With his veto pen today, the Governor said more than any YouTube video ever will about shared sacrifice being nothing more than a political talking point. Maybe that's why his poll numbers are upside down, most notably with women and independent voters abandoning him. While his act may play well for the national crowd in Des Moines, but not well in Dumont where his actions have real consequences to middle class families."
